WITHDRAWAL AGREEMENT BILL PASSES SECOND READING

Earlier today, the House of Commons voted to pass the European Union (Withdrawal Agreement) Bill at Second Reading. The Bill is scheduled to complete its passage through Parliament in the New Year, and will ensure that the UK can begin the process of leaving the EU at the end of January 2020.

RESPONSE TO QUEEN'S SPEECH

It is an honour to follow the hon. Member for Strangford (Jim Shannon), and I absolutely agree with him about the Union. The Union is important in relation not only to Northern Ireland, but to Scotland.

POLICE PRECEPT SURVEY LAUNCHED

Giles Watling, MP for Clacton, is promoting the Policing Precept Survey, which has been launched by the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex, Roger Hirst.

FURTHER NORTH EAST ESSEX CCG ANNOUNCEMENT ON ACE

Giles Watling, MP for Clacton, has welcomed the further announcement from North East Essex CCG (NEECCG) that services at the three remaining ACE surgeries, Green Elms, Frinton Road, and Epping Close, will be transferred to the management of Ranworth Surgery in the new year.
