WITHDRAWAL AGREEMENT BILL PASSES SECOND READING

Earlier today, the House of Commons voted to pass the European Union (Withdrawal Agreement) Bill at Second Reading. The Bill is scheduled to complete its passage through Parliament in the New Year, and will ensure that the UK can begin the process of leaving the EU at the end of January 2020.

GILES CALLS ON THE CHANCELLOR TO AXE THE READING TAX

Giles Watling, MP for Clacton, joined the growing number of MPs and Peers calling on the Chancellor of the Exchequer to promote childhood literacy by cutting the illogical tax on eBooks and audiobooks in the next Budget.
