Giles Watling, Member of Parliament for Clacton, is hosting an Older People’s Fair and is looking for exhibitors to participate in the event.
The Older People’s Fair is being held on 18th June 2019 between 10am and 2pm at Princes Theatre. Giles is keen to hear from organisations, charities, support groups, businesses and community groups that offer services to the over 55’s.
The event, which is free to exhibitors and members of the public, is designed to raise awareness of the different services available to residents who are over 55 years old. Exhibitors already confirmed are Barclays Bank who will be talking about cyber-crime prevention, Clacton Voluntary Services and a local solicitor's practice who will be discussing Wills.
Giles would like other exhibitors to come along to the Older People’s Fair to ensure that a wide variety of services are exhibiting for the benefit of local residents.
Giles said
“I am delighted to announce my first Older People’s Fair. Having been the Member of Parliament since 2017 I have met with large numbers of organisations and businesses that offer services to the over 55’s. However, all too often, few people are aware of the great work that local organisations do. I wanted to pull together companies, charities, businesses and support groups so they can showcase their services to local residents.”
"If you are interested in exhibiting at this event please contact my office and we can reserve you a table, remember the event is free to exhibit and free to attend.”
