On Monday 21st March, Giles Watling MP, Member of Parliament for Clacton, met with Wendy Morton MP, Minister of State at the Department for Transport, to discuss Clacton's difficult position with rail connectivity and the Haughley Junction project in Suffolk.
Giles, in his capacity as Chairman of the Great Eastern Mainline Taskforce and as the MP for Clacton, continues to engage with the Government for improved rail services in the East of England and will keep on the fight for faster and more reliable trains from Clacton to London.
