Giles Watling, MP for Clacton, recently met with Holland Residents’ Association, to sit down with them and discuss the local issues that they are concerned about.
During the meeting, on 4th May, residents raised various issues with Giles, including: the performance of local Anglian Community Enterprise (ACE) surgeries, law and order, and the impact of travellers on the local area – which has been a concern for various years.
Giles has also accepted an invitation to judge the Association’s Christmas shop window display competition later this year, and will be visiting Holland Library in the near future, which is a vital community hub.
Giles said: “I would like to thank Holland-on-Sea residents for taking the time to meet with me, it is always good to have the opportunity to sit down with local residents and discuss their concerns. I look forward to working closely with them going forward, and to joining them at local events in the future.”
