On the evening of Tuesday 8th March 2022, Giles Watling MP, Member of Parliament for Clacton and chair of the All Party Writers Group, hosted and presented an award at Film the House alongside actress Helen Lederer
Film the House is designed to highlight the importance Parliament places on Intellectual Property and on good IP protection and enforcement. Giles hopes that, for their part, creators will respond by taking part in future Film the House competitions and demonstrate the huge audio-visual and writing talent in the United Kingdom.
The event was very popular with several MPs and Lords attending, along with creators in the writing and film industry.
