Giles Watling, MP for Clacton, and former England international, Rachel Yankey OBE, joined forces in Parliament to show support for The FA’s Girls’ Football Week supported by Disney, Monday 23rd – Sunday 29th April.

GILES MEETS AGE UK IN PARLIAMENT

Giles Watling MP attends Age UK’s Parliamentary reception to put older people’s views at the centre of the social care debate

Giles Watling, Member of Parliament for Clacton, met with older people from across the country at an event in Parliament organised by the charity Age UK.  

STATEMENT ON SYRIA

On Saturday 7th April, 75 people, including many young children, were killed in a despicable and barbaric attack in Douma, with as many as 500 further casualties. We have seen the harrowing images of men, women and children lying dead with foam in their mouths.

GILES BACKS CAMPAIGN TO #MAKECAREFAIR

Giles Watling, MP for Clacton, joined the Leonard Cheshire disability charity at a Parliamentary event to highlight their #MakeCareFair campaign for good quality social care and an end to rushed fifteen minute personal care visits, which can deprive people of dignified and compassionate care.
